Surprisingly… The Praying Mantis. This girl, she was ready to lay her eggs, and her apparent mate, Mr ImCoolWithaYellowStripe, were in my lemon tree where the hummers like to take a break. She most likely was looking for a place to lay her eggs. Add to the group a baby and one hanging out in a sage plant feeding off the bees that often visit it… Sorry, not a fan of the praying mantis.
